The IMAX Experience!

While up in Phoenix, we went to go see The Polar Express at the IMAX theater. It was very cool to see it up close and personal! Besides, A Christmas Story, this has to be one of my all time favorite movies! Here we are with our cool glasses on!

Christmas 2008

Usually Christmas brings much travel for Ray and I as we are traveling between Phoenix and Albuquerque. However, Ray's parents moved to Tucson in September and were were lucky to have them close by this year! We celebrated with them early at our house. We had a busy day...went to church, a movie, had dinner and then exchanged gifts. It was nice to have them here this year! Then we traveled up to Phoenix to spend Christmas with my family. My cousins Ginger, Amber and Amber's partner, Natalie joined us this year! Needless to say, it was a loud Christmas with many unusual dinner conversations! But it was nice to have them around and spend time with them. We played a heated game of Christmas trivia in which Ray, Amber, Natalie, Aunt Charlotte and I prevailed! "Fa la la la la la!" Christmas is always a very special holiday for me and it was nice to spend it with all of our family on both sides this year! We are so blessed to have you all in our lives!

Our 3rd Annual Christmas Breakfast

Well, here it is! Our first blog post! This year marked our 3rd annual Christmas Eve Breakfast with the Reeves, Hothems, Seiferts and Leyva's! We were sad that Erich came down with a fever and couldn't join us this year. We all bundled up, met at The Farm and had plenty of laughs with Ariah and her duck! We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives and always look forward to our tradition! In addition to some delicious food, Ray and I had some good old U of A/ASU rivalry fun! We got Terry Hothem back from last year with a table decorated with U of A newspaper ads and a special U of A calendar for him to look at all year long. The CATS beat ASU and went to it's first bowl game in 10 years! So, Ray and I had to rub it in as our rivalry continues year after year with the Hothems! After breakfast, we all took our annual pictures and Ariah was the new addtion this year! We look forward to our 4th annual tradition next year at The Farm!
